Itineraries

Day 1: Arrival to Rwanda

A warm welcome by your driver guide at the Kigali airport check-out point. Head to M Hotel with your
private vehicles.
Swift Check-in at your hotel. Your driver guide will brief you about your trip more exquisitely.
Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

  • 08:30 – Pickup from your hotel by your driver guide.
  • 09:00 – Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about the agonizing story of Rwanda and embrace the current beauty of the country.
  • Lunch in Kigali.
  • 13:00 – Head to Nyungwe National Park.
  • 18:00 – Check-in at Munazi Lodge.
  • Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trek

  • 05:00 – Start the briefing for the chimpanzee tracking. Proceed with the activity.
  • Lunch and afternoon at leisure at Munazi Lodge.
  • Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Nature walk & Transfer to Karongi

  • 08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 09:00 – Take a briefing for the waterfall hike. Proceed with the activity.
  • 13:00 – Freshen up and lunch from your hotel. Check-out and head out to Karongi.
  • 17:00 – Check-in at Umutuzo Lodge.
  • 18:00 – Take part in a traditional fishing night excursion.
  • Dinner, and Overnight.

Day 5: Adventure

  • 08:00 – Breakfast followed by an insightful day with kayak experience, Napoleon island visit, and crop to cup coffee excursion.
  • 13:00 – Lunch at Umutuzo Lodge.
  • Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 6: Transfer to the Volcanoes National Park

  • 09:00 – Breakfast at Umutuzo lodge followed by check-out.
  • 10:00 – Drive to Rubavu and lunch at Kivu Serena Beach.
  • 13:00 – Head to Musanze.
  • 15:00 – Tour the Ellen DeGeneres Campus.
  • 17:00 – Check-in at Grotta Resort.
  • Dinner, and Overnight.

  • 13:00 – Transfer to your hotel to freshen up and lunch.
  • Spend the afternoon at leisure.
  • 18:00 – Take part in the evening cow-milking experience.
  • Dinner, and overnight at Grotta Resort.

Day 8: Transfer to Akagera National Park

  • Breakfast at the lodge.
  • 10:00 – Hit the road from Musanze with your packed lunch.
  • 13:00 – Enjoy your packed lunch from Nyandungu Birding Park along with a Bourbon coffee drink.
  • 14:30 – Proceed to Akagera National Park.
  • 17:30 – Check-in at Akagera Game Lodge.
  • Dinner and Overnight.

Day 9: Full Day Game Drive

  • 07:00 – Quick breakfast.
  • 07:30 – Your full day game drive starts.
  • Picnic lunch at Mihindi Camping site.
  • 15:00 – Return to your hotel (Akagera Game Lodge) for a break and refreshment.
  • 17:30 – You will be picked up by the park team for a night game drive.
  • 21:00 – Dinner at your hotel.
  • Overnight.

Day 10: Departure

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 10:00 – Start your morning game drive as you head out of the park.
  • Lunch in Kigali.
  • Drive to the airport in time for your departure flight.
